The Systems Engineering unit manages and coordinates all computer software and network resources for Environmental Health and Safety and University Health Services. This unit is responsible for developing and maintaining each of the following:

n   NetWare 5.0 file and print server
n   Nightly server tape backups
n   Windows NT 4.0 Web server (IIS)
n   More than 19 in-house databases written using ASP/VBScript, SQL Server and Microsoft Access
n   Helpdesk and technical support for 80+ users in Environmental Health and Safety and University Health Services with Windows 98, 2000, XP and ME operating systems and a variety of individual needs
n   Creating and updating web page content for Environmental Health and Safety
n   Installing, repairing and maintaining workstations and workstation hardware components
n   Supporting off-the-shelf business, graphics and productivity software applications
n   Asset management
