The Asbestos Abatement Management Program is responsible for protecting the health of people and the environment from exposure and contamination due to friable airborne asbestos-containing particulate.

Guidelines
n  This department has also developed guidelines to reduce occupant exposure based on the OSHA guidelines for construction. All lead-based paint removal is conducted under isolated containment. More information on asbestos/lead projects
